ISWNE is offering five summer internships this summer. 

  • Buffalo Bulletin, Buffalo, Wyoming, student intern: Briane Ledda, Stony Brook University. 
  • Malheur Enterprise, Vale, Oregon, tudent intern: Sara Ruberg, Stony Brook University.
  • Record Review, Abbotsford, Wisconsin, student intern: Rebekah Williams, University of Missouri.
  • Sanpete Messenger, Manti, Utah, student intern: Collin Overton, Eastern Kentucky University
  • Washington Island Observer, Washington Island, Wisconsin, student intern: Jennifer Perkins, Eastern Kentucky University

Students will be paid $10 per hour for eight 40-hour weeks, for a total of $3,200. They are responsible for their own housing and transportation costs.

The Foundation started offering summer internships in 2016.
